Claygate was delighted to again welcome APGM Mike Harding to its meeting on 25th April 2019. His formal entry into the Lodge, under the direction of Gordon Hamilton, his escort, was followed by the raising ceremony for Bro. Ivan.
The ceremony was conducted by W. Bro John Siviter, our WM, ably assisted by W.Bros Larry Hands (our University Representative) Peter Habermel and Martin Schollar together with Bro. John Brooks who presented the 3rd Degree Working Tools.
W. Bro Mike presented the Lodge with the Silver Award Certificate and badge to mark its financial contribution to the 2019 Surrey Festival.
The Festive Board which followed provided the Brethren with an opportunity to relax and enjoy good food and fellowship and the usual toasts were honoured.
The raffle and charity collection raised £319.00p, a marvellous achievement from a smaller than usual attendance.
The Lodge will be delighted to host RW Bro Ian Chandler, our Provincial Grand Master, at its May 23rd 2019 meeting.
