W.Bro Larry Hands, represting Claygate Lodge No.6988 (who are the contact Lodge for Kingston University under the Grand Lodge Universities Scheme), visited Onslow Lodge No. 2234 last week and was delighed to witness the initiation of not one but three students from Surrey University.
Oscar, studying sculpture at the Surrey School of Arts and Design, together with Gleb and Ryan both studying at Guildford University, all in their early twenties, were initiated together in one excellent ceremony at the Guildford Masonic Centre, Hitherbury Close.
At the Festive Board, the toast of welcome was given by W.Bro David Fairhurst their proposer and each candidate was assigned a personal mentor to assist him in his masonic journey.
