Thursday 27th April 2017 saw a goodly number of members and guests attend Glenmore House for the April Lodge meeting and the first meeting of the year for our new Master, Bill Slattery.
Despite a number of brethren being indisposed, a good raising ceremony took place for our candidate with several 'older heads' taking roles and exercising their old grey cells, and we were grateful for Daniel's support (Dormer Lodge member) who stepped into the breach as Junior Deacon.
We were delighted to welcome a number of guests including the Past Deputy District Grand Master for the Transval, V.W. Bro. Albert Spencer.
Following the meeting the brethren enjoyed an excellent dinner and the usual toasts were honoured including an excellent toast to the visitors given by our new member
