On Sunday 24th June, the sun shone on some thirty plus members and guests who attended an excellent BBQ at the home of Martin & Heather Schollar. Their garden looked a picture and huge thanks to them both for setting up and running the event again this year.
Martin slaved over the BBQ with his usual expertise and with the multitude of salads that Heather and other Lodge ladies prepared, a fabulous lunch has enjoyed by all.
A raffle was held which raised in excess of £400 which will be donated to the Grand Charity to support our excellent nursing and dementia homes.
