A sunny morning in June saw five members of Claygate Lodge at the Princess Alice Hospice, Esher, in order to present a further cheque for £2500 in support of this very worthwhile local Charity. We were welcomed by Head of Fundraising, Mia Patterson who received the cheque on the hospice’s behalf and expressed their thanks for Claygate Lodge’s contining support, having made a number of donations over the past few years.
Having experienced the stress of giving away our money, those attending adjourned to a local garden centre for a coffee and were asked, in view of our smart attire, whether we were on our way to racing at Sandown!
