On Wednesday 26th June, three long serving Lodge members were delighted to receive honours/promotion in recognition of their respective contributions to Masonry and Claygate Lodge.
Andrew Shackel, Lodge Secretary, received Past Assistan Provincial Grand Registrar,
William (Bill) Carley our long serving senior steward became Past Provincial Assistant Grand Pursuivant and Lionel Frewin, Lodge Almoner was promoted to Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden.
The meeting at Grand Lodge, Covent Garden, was well attended, including a goodly number of 'light blues' and the brethren were interested to hear that a bar and lite-bite cafe is shortly to be installed at Grand Lodge.
