Another successful 'joint venture' Ladies Night was held at The Cobham Curve on Saturday 5th December with over 100 members and guests from Claygate and Dormer Lodges in attendance.
Following a champagne reception we were treated to a few words of welcome from Gavin Wilson, Claygate's reigning Master, before being served with an excellent three course dinner prepared by Vanilla Bean, the Curves' in house caterers.
The tables were graced with beautiful floral displays, prepared by Shelagh Wilson, who later responded to the toast to the Ladies, given by the current Master of Dormer Lodge.
A successful raffle raised several hundred pounds for charity which was further boosted by a 'heads and tails', the winner of which gave her winnings to increase the total raised.
Dinner was followed by a disco which got even the oldest members up and strutting their stuff on the dance floor.
Huge thanks to all concerned in the organisation of this event (especially Jackie and her staff at the Cobham Curve), which provided a great opportunity to thank our ladies for their support throughout the Masonic year.
